This sculpture captures the placid serenity of a grazing sheep in a natural, dynamic pose. The woolly fleece is carefully reproduced with intricate undulations and reliefs that convey thickness and softness. Finishes are opaque, natural colours cream white for the wool and warm beige for the muzzle and legs accentuating the three-dimensional effect.

Entirely carved from precious maple wood by master carvers in Val Gardena, it is available in sizes from 8 to 16 cm. Maple’s compact, fine grain permits detailed carving and ensures durability, making the figure suitable for Nativity scenes or decorative displays.
