St. Joseph (Older) Bookends

These alabaster bookends capture a tender moment between St. Joseph and the Christ Child and a short prayer for fathers. Keeping heavybooks in line, these bookends both organize and decorate your home. This pair of bookends makes the perfect personal gift for all men and anyone with a devotion to this model of purity and holiness. The bookends are made from stone-cast alabaster here in our shop in Steubenville, Ohio. Alabaster is a building and decorating material created from the mineral gypsum that has been used since the time of the ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. It boasts an attractive smooth finish. Each measures roughly 6″ x 8″, including the 4″x 6″ inset image plaque, and is 3″ deep at the base. Text reads: “Dear St. Joseph, foster father and protector of Jesus, please obtain for me the graces necessary to fulfill my responsibilities as a father amidst the many trials of this life. Keep my soul full of deep peace and joy through intimacy with Jesus and with Mary, His tender mother. Amen” ( BKE-1407 )
