The Dolfi Immaculate Conception Sculpture presents the Virgin Mary in a calm, welcoming pose with open hands in blessing; her composed, gentle expression is underlined by the pictorial skill of our artisans.

Colouring features a deep blue mantle (symbolising truth and faith), a creamy white tunic and an intense gold lining. A smooth, brilliant finish and areas of metallic paint with a goldleaf effect enhance the workmanship and pigment luminosity.

Carved by master sculptors from Val Gardena, smaller sizes (up to 56 cm) are made from precious maple wood for fine detail, while larger pieces (from 56 cm upwards) use linden wood for stability and superior pictorial rendering. A rare finish in authentic Italian olive wood is also available.
