Grazing Sheep – Maple Wood (head right)

Admire the mastery with which the fleece of this Grazing Sheep has been rendered. Every fold, every ripple of the wool is sculpted with a sculptural precision that enhances its volume. The finish, in off-white and light beige tones, is enriched by grey-beige and brown shades in the crevices, giving the animal an antique effect and a material depth typical of Dolfi craftsmanship.

The sculpture captures the animal in a pose of serene pastoral everyday life, with its head gently tilted, as if it were busy grazing. This figure is essential to bring your nativity scene to life, adding an element of realism and rural tranquility.

Material and Craftsmanship: Since this figure is available in sizes ranging from 6 to 15 cm, it is made entirely of precious maple wood from Val Gardena. Maple wood is renowned for its fine grain, ideal for such detailed carvings. You can choose between the traditional colored variant (C), the purity of natural wood (N), or the three-shade brown effect (3G), all handcrafted and finished according to local artisan tradition.
