Incorporate an ancient Christian symbol into your home or church with this Franciscan Tau Wood Cross! Taken by St. Francis as a symbol for his order, the shape of the tau is meant to remind each Christian of their call to repentance and to be conformed to Christ – especially in His suffering – by which we show our love for Christ. Our unique Tau cross is made of solid oak with a walnut finish and is cut by hand at our shop in Steubenville, OH, from American grown wood. The cross can easily be hung on any wall with the key-hole slot for nails on the upper back. This is a valuable asset to any home, chapel, or work space as a reminder to live a life conformed to Jesus Christ. Sizes available: 3 x 4″ 4.5 x 6″ 6 x 8″ 7.5 x 10″ ( TAU-W )
