Sometimes called the butterfly cross, this symbol is a monogram of the Ancient Greek spelling of St. Michael the Archangels name – . This symbol has been found in the entrances to ancient buildings and churches to protect those who entered, and even on or around baptismal fonts. In more recent years, this symbol has been found as a tattoo on an ancient Sudanese mummy, likely for protection. With a rich history within the church, this symbol has endured through the years as one of protection and safety. The banner beneath the main symbol reads Quis ut Deus, which means Who is like God? in Latin, which is the meaning of St. Michaels name.~Once, as Pope St. John Paul II battled illness, a Capuchin friar stood below his window with a fist in the sky and shouted, “Coraggio! (Courage!)” Inspired by this story, we at Catholic to the Max wanted to create a product line devoted to inspiring others to have courage and spark real life conversations about Christ. With this in mind, we’ve created a new set of designs that are Catholic, engaging, but also a little unclear. By stirringcuriosity in others, our hope is when someone asks you about your shirt, journal, bracelet, etc, you have theopportunityand courage to proclaim the message of Jesus. You can learn more about the Coraggio brand by visiting our new website:livecoraggio.com.Size chart:SizeSMLXLXXLXXXLLength (Shoulder to hem)282930313233Width182022242628(T-LC-SM )
