This tropical scent will take you straight to the Hawaiian Islands! I even wore it as perfume while I was vacationing there. It starts off with a strong coconut scent and as the scent lingers, polishes off to scents of vanilla.

The candle is in tribute to St. Damien of Molokai. He was sent to Molokai to hear confessions at the Leprosy colony- the only people on the island. After arriving, he saw how desperately they needed Jesus. Instead of staying on the boat where he would be safe from the disease, he permanently moved on to the island where he eventually died from the disease himself.

Candle Burning Tips:

• Trim your wick to 1/4 before each lighting to avoid smoking and overheating.
• Protect the surface on which the candle sits.
• For an even burn, the first burn should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquefy.
• Refrain from burning candles longer than 4 hours at a time.
• Never burn a candle when there is less than 1cm of wax at the base.
• Never leave a candle burning unattended or within reach of drafts, pets, or small children.
• Allow the wax to cool completely before handling.
• Extinguish the flame carefully by snuffing it rather than blowing on it.
