This image “Pentecost” by Jean II Restout depicts the coming of the Holy Spirit. The original was painted in the 1700s for the Monastery of St. Denis outside France and was placed in their dining hall. At some point, the canvas was vandalized and cut into the rectangular dimensions we have now. It is on display at the Louvre in Paris and stands just over 15 feet high, and 25 feet wide. Our image is available as a fine art print in a solid wood frame, handcrafted in Steubenville, Ohio. Sure to be treasured for generations to come, this image of the Coming of the Holy Spirit is the perfect addition to any home!~Sizes listed are of the image only~ ( NW-701-1 )
