This 15-capacity pyx features a Loaves and Fishes design with enamelled colouring. It measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter and is gold plated inside and out. Intended for church use, a pyx is traditionally used to carry consecrated hosts when visiting parishioners, during hospital ministry or for Communion outside the church. Its compact diameter makes it a practical vessel for clergy and Eucharistic ministers who require a dedicated pyx for this purpose. The enamelled Loaves and Fishes design gives this traditional church item a distinctive appearance.
